The Impact/Lessons Learned on Implementing Digital Transformation Projects at Higher Ed Institutions

Digital transformation is a complex blend of systems, processes, and people. How can we keep people centred at the heart of business change in an age of AI? In this talk we will describe large-scale, institution-wide change which puts technology at the heart of the business while enabling users to retain ownership, control, and confidence. We will explore a design-led and people-centred approach to digital transformation in UK Higher Education, and describe how a focus on human factors can deliver lasting, positive impact, and embed an ongoing enthusiasm for change and continuous improvement into the organisation.
