In a research culture obsessed with rapid delivery and measurable impact DARIAH-IE is doing something different. Supporting Ireland's arts and humanities research infrastructure means prioritising people over platforms by creating networks and connections, because infrastructure without community is just architecture. In an era of mounting funding pressure, that community becomes a collective voice: in national open access monitor developments, in EOSC conversations, and in the broader fight for arts and humanities visibility. In a world of disciplinary silos, patient partnership — with genuine overview across institutions and initiatives — is quietly radical. Sustainable infrastructure is not built fast. It is built together.
